Join Your Fellow Professionals for Engineer's Day at the Missouri Capitol!

ACEC/MO, APWA, ASCE and MSPE are partnering to conduct an "Engineer's Day at the Missouri Capitol". The purpose of this day is to educate legislators on the important and diverse roles that engineers play in our community, and to increase our presence and voice in the public policy process.

Agenda
8:30 a.m. – Capitol Plaza Hotel - Join your fellow engineers for a networking breakfast! We will hear from at least two freshman Senators on what they expect to happen during this year's legislative session. There is no registration fee for attending the breakfast.

9:40 a.m. – We will proceed as a group to the House - Benton Gallery, where we will meet with Representastives Mayhew, Voss, Bromley, Brown and Taylor, all of whom are fellow engineers. Representative Mayhew will then introduce the group to the entire Missouri House of Representatives.

After we are introduced to the House, you are free to do individual visits on your own.  Do not be discouraged to try and meet with a Senate or House member while their chamber is in session. Often times their office staff will pull them off the floor or take you to the side gallery to meet with them.
